Matrix Fashion Show Production

The fashion show, Matrix, planned, organized and produced by University Fashion Group, is the nation’s largest university fashion show, attracting thousands to see the collections composed of longhorn attire, sustainable pieces, couture garments, and collections.

‘Matrix’ is "something within or from which something else originates, develops, or takes form," which can be interpreted in many ways. Designers have these ideas to which they dedicate their time and energy, utilizing their creativity and skills to make those ideas "take form" and come to life. One of the main purposes of the show is to provide the opportunity to express and share that creativity to a large audience so not only are their ideas "taking form" but the process that gets them to that point (all the learning, sewing, creating) is also molding them into a better version of themselves.

Matrix is broadcasted live on the Longhorn Network (LHN) in conjunction with ESPN, which airs through Spectrum, Verizon, Google Fiber, and AT&T Uverse.
